Stacy Kennedy, MPH, RD, CSO, LDN is a senior clinical nutritionist for Dana Farber/Brigham and Women’s Hospital Cancer Care, Harvard Medical School teaching affiliates, in Boston, MA. Stacy is a Board Certified Specialist in Oncology Nutrition and Integrative Nutritionist. Stacy created and now serves as project manager and lead writer for Nutrition Services content on the Dana-Farber Website and affiliated, nationally recognized, Nutrition app. Stacy is regularly featured in TV, radio and print and social media on behalf of Dana Farber and other organizations. Eating Well During Cancer, The Cancer-Nutrition Link is an award winning video series featuring Stacy, available on the DFCI website and You Tube.
Stacy is the former Chief Wellness Officer for AVA, a startup focused on intelligent nutrition coaching and backed by top-tier Silicon Valley investors.
Stacy is featured in the award winning documentary films, Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead and Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead 2, available on Netflix, iTunes, and works as the Lead Nutritionist, contributing many blog posts, coaching wellness seeking participants and serving as a Medical Advisory Board Member for Reboot with Joe, which is associated with the movie. The Kennedys help lead weeklong juicing retreats on behalf of RWJ for 200+ participants, including overseeing their Health Coaches and fitness trainers.
Stacy also works as a nutrition consultant for various start-up companies focused on health, wellness and innovative strategies to help increase individual’s fruit and vegetable intake. She is an adjunct professor in Wellness and Health Coaching at William James College.
Stacy is an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Health Fitness Specialist. She has written articles and worked on Wellness Coach Curriculum for ‘Zumba’ from Reebok.
Stacy and Dr. Russ live in Wellesley with their two sons and four dogs. Stacy enjoys cooking, yoga, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
